In this beautiful September, we celebrate the 42nd Teachers' Day. GTIIT students express their heartfelt thanks in writing, turning warm memories with their teachers into sincerest blessings.
Wang Yue
All faculty members at GTIIT strongly encourage students to raise questions and participate in class discussions, valuing every student's point of view. Outside class, teachers are highly dedicated. Students are welcome to bring forward their questions and thoughts during Office Hours. In this learning atmosphere, students act as active participants in class, while teachers serve as facilitators.
Professor Kathleen, my instructor for Technical English Communication, is gentle and approachable. During the open?ended pre?class check?in, she listens carefully to each student’s ideas and provides individual feedback. Her classes are lively and engaging, inspiring high levels of student participation. She even specially hosted an end?of?course party for us upon the completion of the course. In her class, we gained not only knowledge but also precious friendships.

Professor Belen delivers well?organized lectures. She excels at breaking down complex and obscure problems for easier understanding. Warm?hearted and patient, she explains knowledge points after class and guides us to think and solve problems independently.

Happy Teachers' Day to all faculty at GTIIT!

The faculty at GTIIT each have their own teaching style—some guide us through formulas and theorems with clear logic and reasoning, while others spark our curiosity with passion and enthusiasm, but all of them are dedicated with rigor. Despite students' limited English proficiency and the professors' varied accents, we overcame the challenges of all-English instruction together with tolerance and patience. Thank you, professors, for your patience, dedication, support, and encouragement!

Sarah and Edgar are my English mentors at school. They not only taught me English knowledge and language skills but also opened up new perspectives and worlds beyond the language itself. Every question I asked in or outside class was patiently answered by them.
I remember the time during the preparatory semester when I had some doubts about the course content. After class, I approached Sarah, and we continued discussing from the classroom all the way downstairs. Sarah encouraged me to ask more questions in class and told me I could definitely do very well.

In the formal semester, I was in Edgar's class. I still vividly recall our presentation on cultural differences in the English Communication course. My group and I compared cultures of China, Russia, and Argentina, and even interviewed professors from these countries. During class, Edgar provided thoughtful feedback on each part assigned to the four of us, and we engaged in extensive discussions with him. After class, he extended the topic further, and we kept talking for nearly an hour—this kind of interactive atmosphere is something I truly cherish.

On the occasion of Teachers' Day, I wish all teachers success in their work, good health, happiness in everything they do, and a joyful mood every day!

Sarah was the first teacher I met at GT, and she is also one of my favourites.
She remembered my name in the very first week of school. Every time we run into each other on campus, she always greets me warmly and stops for a little chat.
Her classes are always relaxed and delightful. She keeps encouraging us to speak up and ask questions. We share our stories with one another, and she also talks about her own life?experiences with us.

To me, Sarah is both a teacher and a friend. I'm so lucky to have met her!
Happy Teachers' Day to all the teachers at GT!

To dear professor Felipe:
I am truly grateful to have met such a thoughtful and patient teacher at GT. Thank you so much for your guidance whenever I work through problems independently. You have greatly sparked my interest in mathematics and helped me build confidence. May you have many outstanding students in your future teaching career, may everything go smoothly in your work, and may your life be filled with happiness.

Elisa is such a bright and cheerful lecturer. I took her Intro to System Programming class in my second semester.

Every teacher is dedicated and hard?working, but what really drew me to Elisa was just how human she felt — you know what I mean? Case in point: mid?lecture, she pulled banana chips out of her bag and started munching away! Our eyes briefly met as we watched on with those amused “aunt?like grins”. She was genuinely surprised to find out eating in class isn’t part of Chinese classroom culture! Meanwhile, we were equally shocked by how laid?back classes can be abroad! To make up for it, my classmates and I traded some chocolate for her banana chips during the break ~

Little moments that show Elisa’s easy?going personality go on and on. She turns into this cool party girl at night?run mixers; she pulls up silly little animal doodles live while teaching; and once when I mentioned I was hungry, she gave me a small biscuit. My heart melted. Needless to say, she also has that wonderful dedication shared by all great instructors. She prepares thoroughly for every lecture, delivers lessons with great energy, and patiently answers all our questions after class. She even takes time out of her weekends to reply to our messages.

Happy Teachers' Day, Ms. Orduna! Love you!

Dear Prof. Kumaran
Happy Teachers' Day!
Thank you for all the conversations, advice, and encouragement you have given me over the years. I especially appreciate that whenever I feel uncertain about what direction to take, you are always willing to listen to my sometimes-scattered ideas and give me thoughtful and practical advice.
For me, your support has gone beyond the classroom. You have encouraged me to explore different possibilities, try things for myself, and gradually figure out what kind of work and future I want.
I'm very grateful to have you as my advisor and teacher. Wishing you a very happy Teachers’ Day, and I hope there will be many more interesting conversations ahead!
